| Domencio Dolce and Stefano Gabbana celebrated their 25th anniversary of their huge imperium by an almost all-white (lace) collection Spring 2011. Backstage the designers explained that the inspiration behind the lovely show was a hope chest. For people who don't get this right away (like me), that is the things new and handed down to a bride what she might pack before she sets off on the next chapter of her life.
